Pre-announced student rally of Ruling Bangladesh Awami League`s (AL) student front Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL), would be held on September 1 (Friday) instead of 31st August.
The decision was made to ensure hassle free movement of the HSC examinees and avoid public sufferings, said a notice signed by BCL president Saddam Hossain and Gen Secretary Sheikh Wali Asif Inan.
The BCL grand rally will be held at 3pm at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital.
Bangabandhu`s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will present at the rally as chief guest, reads the notice.
